This year, we are learning the Amidah. The Amidah is a Jewish prayer. At the beginning of the Amidah, we take three steps back and three steps forward. It means we\u2019re leaving the world but then coming back. At the beginning of the Amidah, the words \u201cBaruch Atah Adonai\u201d start and we bow. In Hebrew, we also learn the Aleph Beit, reading and much more. Strings is the teacher. She teaches me a lot and I really like her. I like her because she teaches us the meaning of words so we don\u2019t just say Hebrew words without knowing the meaning of them. I like learning Hebrew to see how different the languages can be.
