She knew about Camp Gilgal through some family friends, but her parents also worked for Jews for Jesus for a while. Her favorite teen camp activity is the Decathalon. Her name is Chickpea because she says it suits her. She feels it\u2019s a \u201csuperhero identity\u201d for her. She had family at camp with her this year (one cousin at junior camp and five at teen camp!) and she really enjoyed it. She said it was \u201cinteresting,\u201d especially since some of them were in her cabin! She loves teen camp the most, and she loved this year at camp because she learned a lot from campers as well as staff.<\/p>\n<p>Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 (\u201cFor I know the plans I have for you,\u201d declares the Lord, \u201cplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future\u201d), and her favorite book of the Bible is James. If she were<br \/>\non a deserted island and it flipped over and became a restaurant she said it would be some Thai place that had a healthier kind of pad thai waiting for her.
