Many campers look forward to meals cooked by Chef Bill. Other summer camps have food that tastes downright \u2018bleh.\u2019 It\u2019s also noted that other camps have meals that are worse than typical cafeteria food! Not Camp Gilgal, though! Hot food is served every day with a salad bar, which <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-8056\" src=\"http:\/\/jforj.org\/campgilgal\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/sites\/4\/2016\/02\/Yumm-Food1-279x300.jpg\" alt=\"Yumm! Food!1\" width=\"215\" height=\"231\" srcset=\"http:\/\/jforj.org\/campgilgal\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/sites\/4\/2016\/02\/Yumm-Food1-279x300.jpg 279w, http:\/\/jforj.org\/campgilgal\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/sites\/4\/2016\/02\/Yumm-Food1.jpg 625w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 215px) 100vw, 215px\" \/>includes several toppings and dressings. There\u2019s another option of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with fruit during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals differ from sandwiches to tacos to chicken to waffles. My personal favorite is Chef\u2019s mashed potatoes because they\u2019re buttery and hand mashed.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget dessert! At both lunch and dinner scrumptious treats are offered. This may include cookies, churros, brownies, popsicles, ice cream, etc. When you take a bite, you take a trip to a delicious dream.
