The point of the night is to be kind to everyone. \u201cMensch\u201d is Yiddish for being a good person. Throughout the whole night staff and campers offer to take cups, plates, and utensils, and also to wipe down the tables. This theme night really inspired campers to be mensches throughout the rest of camp. Being mensches shows love, kindness, caring, and compassion for others. I asked Mango what her favorite part of Mensch Night is and she said, \u201cI love being kind to others and I think it\u2019s a very special thing.\u201d I also asked my friend Carrie and she said, \u201cI think it is nice when people are mensches to others.\u201d The most important thing I think is knowing that God loves us, cares for us, and knows that we are precious to Him.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Persaeus B., Age 11 Tribe of Zebulun What a Mensch Night is a dinner theme where all the tribes make up nice, funny, and clever puns.
