Tribe of Dan
This year we chose to be in the tribe of Dan. We made a snake curled up with grass around it. The color of the degel is maroon. We put our names on the mountains. We used red and white for the snake. We did black for the writing of Camp Gilgal 2016, and Dan in English and Hebrew. We outlined the mountains with tan and grass green. We also outlined the snake with black. The red and white stripes were vertical on the snake. When I was going to write camp the black exploded. It went all over my hand. I went and washed it off. The degel looks amazing. Lily, who’s in my tribe, gets to take the degel home. Degel making is really fun. Everyone in my tribe loved making it. I will now interview Lily. She likes to look at it when it is finished. She wrote 2016 in black. Lily had a fun time making it. Thank you for reading this Gazette article.
