Tribe of Zebulun
We are the tribe of Zebulun. Our tribe members are Bailey, Zoë, Persaeus, Erica, and Carrie. Our tribe leaders are Mahoney and S’mores. We do almost everything together! For example, we eat together, have Tabernacle together, play night games together, and lastly, we work as a team together. To get to our cabin, we have to walk up a HUGE hill. Since we are the oldest tribe, our cabin, “Grizzly Flat,”
is the farthest away. During Tabernacle, we sings songs before Streetlight, the camp director, leads us into our morning Bible study. We usually sing songs we all know, but when we learn a new song, we try to harmonize to it. When it is F.O.B. (FLAT ON BUNK) time, we memorize bits of the Bible that Streetlight assigns for us to get points. At the end of camp, they total our score of however many points we got, and they announce the Tribe of the Year. Then, we have an awards ceremony for all of the campers. Camp Gilgal is a second home for me and my campmates.
