At Camp Gilgal, we have cabin cleanup.  Cabin cleanup is when everyone cleans up their cabin.  They clean up for cabin inspection.  The inspection is done by either Speedy or Twister.  It’s very hard to get a good grade.  We have to make sure our shoes are not askew and our garbage can is empty.  Our light has to be off and our beds must be made.

At lunch, our scores are given to us.  Usually Speedy tells our cabin, “Your cabin was good, but there were some infractions.”  Some kids leave notes for Speedy so they can get bonus points.  If a tribe gets under 60 points, that tribe has to clean the bathrooms.  My tribe scored very high every day.  One day we even got 105 points!  Naphtali got 55 points, so they spent free time cleaning the bathrooms.

Cabin cleanup was good because it helped us keep our cabin clean.
