My name is Isaac. This year in my cabin I had a really cool kid names Michael. Michael lived in Israel for eleven years, and then he moved to Georgia. This was his first year at Camp Gilgal. His dad was our Hebrew teacher and was really fun.
Michael and his family lived in Israel at a hostel called Beth El. Michael said, “It’s a really big hostel where people come and stay for a few days (usually three) while we teach them about Jesus.”
Michael enjoyed living at Beth El a lot. He said that, “Living in Israel was fun and we had more friends from around the world than if we lived in America.” He also said that his school was, “more challenging than in America.”
I like Michael a lot, and talking to him made me want to go to Israel more than ever.
