Last Wednesday, Camp Gilgal went horseback riding. We loaded the bus, happy and laughing. We sang songs, slept a lot, read, and talked. But after the long, long journey, almost every person was ready to get out. When we got out, we had a small walk up a dusty road.
We came upon a stable, anticipation weighing on our minds. One by one, beautiful horses sauntered out. Some girls (including yours truly) emitted squeals of delight. We mounted our horses and set off. Amazing sights of God’s creation were witnessed. Blue sky opening up from beneath a blanket of trees and trickling streams. Many were sorry to leave.
